Fair policy
OMP S.r.l., via Ca’ Leoncino 2, Castello di Godego (TV), as Data Controller (hereinafter “Controller”), provides this notice to the Data Subject in compliance with European and Italian regulations on personal data protection.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
The Controller processes personal data for the following purposes:
To adopt pre-contractual measures requested by the Data Subject, such as sending information about products or services (including brochures, catalogues and/or other company materials) or providing a quotation, which will be prepared by entering the contact into the CRM; as well as to pursue the legitimate interest of assessing the Data Subject’s creditworthiness and managing any disputes.
The legal basis is the necessity to pursue the above purposes.
Data retention period
The Controller processes data according to the following timeframes:
If information or a quotation is requested, data will be processed for the time necessary to respond, up to a maximum of 12 months.
Nature of data provision and consequences of refusal
Providing data for the purposes referred to in point 1) is necessary to submit the request and receive a response. Failure to provide such data will make it impossible for the Controller to supply the requested information.
Categories of recipients
The Controller will not disclose the data but may communicate them to authorized internal personnel based on their roles, as well as to sales agents, business information companies, consulting firms, associations and/or business organizations, professionals or service companies, and public or private entities, including following inspections and audits.
Where such recipients process data on behalf of the Controller, they will be appointed as Data Processors through a specific contract or legal act.
Data transfer to third countries and/or international organizations
For purposes strictly related to those described above, data may be transferred to countries and/or organizations outside the EU. The lawfulness of such transfers (for the USA) is based on compliance with specific data protection safeguards.
Rights of the Data Subject
The Data Subject has the right to request access to their personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure or restriction of processing where applicable, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to obtain data portability where processing is automated and based on consent or contract.
The Data Subject also has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
